Double Strike Summer

Double Strike Summer

SAG-AFTRA and WGA went on strike for fair contracts and it was incredible to see so much solidarity and come together as a community of entertainment industry workers. As a member of the SAG-AFTRA LA Local Next Gen Performers Committee, Rebecca helped to organize a picket meet-up in support of the WGA.

Oscar-Qualifying LA Shorts Festival Acceptance!

Rebecca’s first short film COPING, has been accepted into its first film festival, and it's a fancy one...COPING will have its WORLD PREMIERE at the Oscar-qualifying @lashortsfest!

LA Shorts is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts BAFTA, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television ACCT Canadian Screen Awards, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain GOYA AWARDS.

I came up with the idea for a film based off of an event that happened in my life; the wonderful Mary McDonnell wrote the script that the incredible Kaye Tuckerman directed! Our cast and crew were AMAZING and I'm so thrilled that LA audiences will get to see everyone's beautiful work.

The festival runs from July 19 – 27, 2023 at Regal Cinema, LA LIVE.

Young Storytellers BIG SHOW

Young Storytellers BIG SHOW

Rebecca participated as a volunteer actor in Young Storytellers, helping to bring to life 5 original plays by 5th graders in their BIG SHOW. Their plays involved a video game playing whale, a time machine, Mother Nature, a basketball team named the Dirty Socks, and more. It was an absolute blast and you can learn more about Young Storytellers and their mission below:

Young Storytellers equips young people to be the driving force of their own narratives. We’re passionate about bringing people together and creating stories to raise the voices of those who don’t often get heard.

We believe that when a young person understands the power of their own story—made of their unique background, culture, race, gender, sexuality, immigration status, geographic location, and economic status—it creates a more empathetic and equitable future for everyone.

We raise voices, one story at a time.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 Episode 7

Rebecca’s co-star on S4 Ep7 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is out now!

“Such an amazing time working with the loveliest people and learning from the best of the best at their craft. To get to be a small part of a show that makes people laugh, provides comfort and escape, and brings people together, was a dream from start to finish. I pretty much got a front row seat to a masterclass in acting (Rachel Brosnahan) and directing (Daniel Palladino) with the kindest crew. And getting to be on set during this pandemic, able to make art and create - it felt so special.

Thank you so much Jaime and Unified Management, and Anne Davison and Cindy Tolan Casting for the opportunity!”
